You can set up your eQSL account for whether you want to be emailed about new QSLs or not. Since I occasionally get an eQSL for a contact made from my old QTH, I have that part of my account set for emails, but not for newer QSLs. I'm not actively chasing any eQSL awards, but I still upload my log periodically for those who are. Only takes a minute of my time.

N3XP, I also prefer real cards. I still get a thrill when I get an envelope with unusual stamps and a postmark with funny writing, or a package full of bureau cards. They're easier to show off, too!

A lot of users set up a (ALIAS) email account just for that reason. Keeps there main account clean.

I agree with you, but on the other hand, I am a single dad, and the cost of direct QSL quickly add up to serious money.

I will however make cards for KF7EGV, as getting QSL cards in the mail is one of the things that drive her, I will have a stack for her when she get her General.

Default eQSL problems

I've been trying for weeks to get registered with eQSL with no luck, I've asked for the code to be resent, and I've left numerous messages with their staff, even giving them my alternative e-mail information, I get no response from them what so ever. I think that they may have shut down or are not registering anybody new anymore. I don't know. LOTW was much easier to join than eQSL, and much much quicker.

Well, almost as if they were reading this forum, I just received my verification code e-mail (actually one of the many resends that I requested, but hey, I finally got something). And now I'm set up with eQSL. Just took several weeks to do it.
