well i took off the remix, its great for laptops but other then looking aesthetically pleasing, its useless...i have ubuntu 9.10 now...working great! and i just gave a computer with ubuntu 5.04 to my uncle to play around with...
Been using 9.04 Remix with the Sickboy kernel, which is optimized for the Acer Aspire One. Works VERY well, and using the cellphone for broadband access works the best of any of my computers. FWIW, Ed
My wife and I got matching Acer Aspire One netbooks as an early Xmas present (picked up cheap from the November Woot-off). Running UNR 9.10 on mine and it works great. At first I wasn't a fan of it and considered going to normal Ubuntu, but after getting the hang of how everything was laid out its not so bad anymore.
