____ Before Broadband was even being tried, up here in the boonies a hacker started with WiFiMax Look up M33Access, his system works out here in the North woods, I just happen to live outside his patterns and his competitors patterns, So I suffered with 14K lousy noisy copper, best hookup handshake has been 20K. I had to wait until this year to get a Cellular Connection.
____ The biggest lie was it was for rural and then they tried it urban, it won't work rural either. Out here they might 1/2 customer/mile. There where you live you have neighbors out here their over a half mile away. It still boils down to Cost/Mile and how many Customers.

President Bush had nothing to do with BPL. He, as any President, depended upon the advice of the "experts" who were most probably watering at the well of the BPL Lobbyists. The current president's advisers are doing the exact same thing -- with far greater costs to the taxpayers -- with the "Cap and Trade nonsense.
