Is it real or is it Memorex, I mean Photoshop.

Strange that Vertex USA has a brochure, yet there is no info on Vertex Japans site on this rig.

But if it is Photoshop, someone is very good at it.

Very strange way to leak this info out, but it looks like a real item.

I wonder how many sub-menus layers to change RF Power and Keyer speed?

Nice lookin' rig. Probably way out of my price range. Maybe I can swap 2 Tootsie Pops and a Tricycle for one.

Another new rig: FTdx6000.
It looks like FTdx9000.

Indeed appears to be genuine. I'd love to see specs and images.

Preliminary info posted, will update when possible:

Hm, well, both of those have their own knobs on the FT-2000 so if I had to guess, none.

Can't imagine it's a replacement for the FT-2000 though, there's lots of room between 2000 and 9000 for them to add models. Looks like a combination of the 9000 display on that 6000, the 5000 sure looks a lot like the FT-2000.

Interesting. That would be a very short lifecycle for the FT-2000 if indeed it's being replaced

That monitor looks interesting - i wonder if it will fit the 2000. looks rather nicer than the huge computer display if you don't have to buy the expansion chassis.

One or the other:
Or FT5000 - cardinally new decision from Yaesu, or FT5000 - repetition FT2000.
That is why I so think:
FT2000= FT950+Power Supply+SubRX
FT9000= FT2000+DMU2000+Monitor+(3 X MuTuneKit)

What is FT5000? Just think about...

I saw an email that was sent to all of the Ham Radio Outlet stores 2 weeks ago about the FTDX5000MP. The email implied that delivery would occur before the end of this year..
