The NorCal 20 was designed by Dave Fifield, AD6A, and runs 5 watts.
It's a single conversion superhet with a 9MHz IF and a 5MHz VFO.
A pre-amp stage, high level double balanced mixer, and 4 pole
crystal filer give the receiver its excellent performance.
