Good day all,
I received this mail through one of my websites and said I would try to assist. Being this side of the pond I have limited contacts but hope someone close by can help this lady. IF you can, please contact me and I will pass on all contact details.
Thanks in advance,

Good evening,
It is with a very heavy heart that I write an email to complete strangers regarding my dad's Ham Radio Equipment.
I lost my best friend, my dad, Eugene R. Pilot, on March 28, 2007 and I miss him every moment.
It really is difficult writing this email... so, here it goes.........
My dad, had such a love for his ham radio and ham radio equipment. I can remember, as a child, my dad had a business... E&R Electronics in Neptune, NJ, which eventually closed. Later on, he started another business, Pilot Amateur Radio.. again in Neptune, NJ... but also on the internet. When he was finished working, he would be in his radio shack talking to people all over the world. To me, it just sounded like people talking to him and a very bad speaker... I never could really understand what the other people were saying (ha ha).
If he could not find (purchase) what he was looking for to talk to someone "in outer space" - he made it. He truly was a genius!
Anyway, I am trying to keep this short...... I am looking for an appraiser for all of my dad's ham radios and equipment. He has so many items and pieces of equipment (which, I really don't know what these gidgets and gadgets do) and I just don't want them to be thrown away or delivered to a junk yard for scrap metal.
I have been told that Ham Radio is a "thing of thhe past" and that the "internet" has pretty much taken over. Well, my response to that statement was you cannot compare Ham Radio with the internet... they are totally different entities.
If you could direct me to someone, or have someone contact me directly to discuss further, I would sincerely appreciate it.
Kindest regards,
Anne M. Pilot, Daughter of
