HOW TO: Search in this forum

Some folks have asked, "How do I search for a particular item in this forum?".

Some folks have notice that if you're looking (for example) for an Icom 756 Pro III, searching for "756" produces nothing while searching for "Icom" produces way too many results.

Here's what works best:

From the top of the swapmeet forum, in the upper right area, click on Search This Forum, then from the popup, choose "Advanced search...".

In the Search Forums box, enter in your keyword(s). To find Icom 756's, for example, enter *756* (note the asterisks).

Below that, instead of "Search entire posts", choose "Search Titles Only" (it's faster).

Next, click on the Search Now button and enjoy the results.
