Purchased VHF antenna from Dennis and was told was in excellent condition. #Assembling the antenna, found the U-Bolts for mounting antenna boom to mast have been hacksawed and unable to even remove the nuts. #Both sides of U-Bolts are unequal lengths and as result, cannot use. #Both hose clamps were stripped out and unuseable.
I realize not a big ticket item, but now I have to order replacement parts out of my pocket when item was indicated excellent, up less then a year.
Oh, and the e-mail address is now suddenly no longer working either.
I e-mailed for over a month now and finally had to procure the hardware myself from Cushcraft direct to the tune of $30 ($12 is for flat shipping/packing). Antenna is up, but for the price I had to pay, I could have gotten a new one.
Just beware is all I can say.
Here is the cost incurred for me to get his antenna up on the tower:
Order Number (per Cushcraft) 13B2BMNPHK - $17.91
Plus $12 flat shipping/handling fee. #Total: #$30
Non-responsive to USPS mailings.
Over a month now. Why don't you just reconcile this issue and refund the amount indicated? Next time you post something, why not provide all the info on your item for sale???
