There's a reason I'm moving to Florida in July. And it's NOT because I like snow.

The largest mountians in my sight lost there snow last week except for the odd patch on the north sides at the top.

Nice to see... I hate seeing snow with one exception... August swimming on a beach in 65-75 degree water and its 75 degrees it out its kind of eerie seeing mountians in the distance with a tad bit of snow of the peaks

KE6MNG interesting mobile setup. I like it.

2m ssb is open, I just had a contact on 144.200 with a station near Gettysburg PA in FM19, here in FM17 in VA.

Also, hearing a station sending CW on 144.200. Due to qsb and the CW being sent kinda fast for me, I think the station was a KA2 station, as that was all I was able to copy after hearing the call sing being sent a bunch of times.

    Hi guys,

Yup, the 2M DX season is upon us, 6 is hot too, scanner DX reports are flooding in at www.radioreference.com if that's any indication. Looking at Jim Hepburn's maps you guys down south are rolling in it.

Chris, if I don't hear from you in the meantime, 73 and bon voyage. We're gonna miss ya here "deep in the heart of Jersey" to borrow a phrase from "Uncle" Floyd Vivino. Florida in JULY? UGH! Do you know what a "snow bird" is?
