I have successfully pitched a story idea to the New York Times. A fine NY TIMES reporter just got off the phone with me after several hours. He interviewed Alan Pitts at the ARRL, who, in tirn, directed him to a great ham interview.

The NY TIMES reporter needs to interview 2 or 3 hams who are in the affected area with stories about rescue operations. As well as 2 or 3 additional hams who can have participated in rescue operations from their homes anywhere in the USA. So there are two groups: Hams in the affected area who have rescue stories, as well as hams in their homes across america who also participated in rescue operations. Deadline is Tomorrow, so please contact me if you know anyone who could be interviewed. If we hustle, we can get this in the New York Times in the next couple days.

    Thanks,

Take a look at some relavent threads on this page. Looks like N8SHZ and W7LXR would be good choices.

I left you another suggestion on the Q&A page.
