Let me set things straight .. Each Radio Service weather licensed by the FCC or not licensed has different Departments, recently the Michigan Association of Broadcasters decided to self inspect their own Broadcast Stations, under the old Rule the FCC would send out a FCC inspector at the Tax Payers Expense, now it has been changed like the Amateur Service to self inspect their own equiptment and be accountable for their actions.
Some of the recent posts of 11 Meter Citizens Radio Service #Part 95 , CB has never in fact ever assembled a Auxillary Services such as the Amateur Radio Service has done since the ARRL was founded, and they are a long time to ever becoming self monitoring, because of its decision as a whole became unlicensed, and like I put on my web site they probably never will.
However If you people want to complain to the FCC you have to send a written letter off your word processor program to the FCC Main Washington, DC physical street address, by the way I have complained ABT a CBer and was served a NAL for indecent behaviour.
Riley Hollingsworth is our Amateur Service Special Counsel, #( I may be jumping the Gun Here ) he is mainly interested in keeping the Interlopers off 10 Meters and other bands, and enforce the Amateur Service Rules. I been at the ARRL siteARRL Site
So what I gathered that RH is assigned to us only, not CB, not Marine, not Aircraft, etcc #this is purely my observation.
each service has evolved with their own freq. coordinators, regulatory specilists, attorneys, etc.. over the past 30 some years we have evolved into a new dimension of self regulation, testing, freq. coordination, etc.. CB will never evolve not much more than a under the rule 4 watt Max, AM and 12 W. PEP SSB radio service with people that chosen to operate as they please, thats why it is what it is. and every kilocycle CB cop comes along gets his beak bent that he's ready to enforce the law. #no training, no guidance, nothing they come and go.
Has no clue what he is doing.
as long as they don't wander over in our territory, but they sure love to hand out a few thousand dollars out for the fines given.

Are we having fun yet?

I set it to black guess green is a poor choice and depends on your browser and type of monitor you have 16 color or a 256 color, I hope this helps.

IF you have an actual complaint, try lbrock@fcc.gov. Dallas field office is handling the CB stuff (with the help of other offices.)

...like it would actually DO any good...
It appears from the recents " hits " the fcc HAS actually made, that they prefer business over individuals.
Why ? It is more worth their time to go after a business and get 10 - 30 rigs and amps, etc...than to go after " john doe cb operator " with ONE rig & an amp.
Wouldnt one be more profitable for their time & effort than the other ?

Hi guys,
I see references to the FCC Dallas TX office but that's only for the Fifth District. (Amateur Radio districts are the same as Federal Court districts which should tell you something.) In District 2 it's located at 201 Varick St. NY NY and whatever the Zip code is. It pays to know the Engineer In Charge and befriending the field engineers too would be helpful, I did. At one time the EIC was a ham living in NJ and had his own monitoring station in his house, oh man, did the hams ever and CBers behave then!
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.

Yes, but it is Mr. Brock who has been assigned the primary job of going after dealers, etc. That was done by Gettysburg about 2 years ago. He then assigns the actual action to the District Engineer in the respective area. It is still he that has caused the actions against individuals that *have* been taken. How do I know that? A certain gentleman told me so!

Am I understanding you correctly?? You filed a complaint with the FCC?? The subject of this complaint was a CBer?? As a result of your complaint, the FCC charged YOU with indecent behavior??
And the only way the FCC will accept a complaint is if it is written off a word processor program??
I'm really having trouble decifering your post...

I can't tell if he got the nal or the cb'er.
Echolink.....Taking the RADIO out of Amateur Radio by creating internet chatrooms within our service. Radio is not the internet, nor should the internet be radio!!!!
