It is with deep regret that I inform the QRZ community that Bob Geist, N2SLB is now a silent key. Bob had been active in ham radio since 1992 and was particularly active on HF digital in recent years. His enthusiasm for amateur radio was legendary. Early in his ham career, he was known by some in Westchester, NY as "40-meter Bob", such was his passion for CW on 40. He was my neighbor, mentor, and dear friend, as he was to many others who were fortunate enough to know him.
