Bud Roeske - KE4IPX (October 11, 2014) Long time member of the Alford Memorial Radio Club in Stone Mountain Georgia, and much loved Elmer to Steve, N4TTY Bud became my morning radio pal about 2 years ago while I drove around at work driving commercially. I really miss him...along with many of the other members of the club. He was such a nice guy...and just too young...62. He was the kind of guy you really looked forward to seeing and talking to. He went out his way to talk to me on the radio since he knew that I was driving around all the time looking for a conversation between orders at work and was new to the area radio scene in the Atlanta area. Thanks Bud !!! Don NX1Q
Hi Don, I am the new Editor for the AMRC newsletter. I'm doing an Honor Roll for all club Silent Keys. I cannot find much information about Bud Roeske beyond the normal QRZ and FCC links. I cannot find an obituary for him. Below is a summary of what I DO have for him. Can you point me to any obituaries? Thanks and 73, KV4VT -- Chuck Adams . KE4IPX Bud Roeske Herbert P. (Paul?) Patricia Roeske was (one of?) his wife(s). Son might be Gordon Roeske per Ancestry.
