Sad news in the Willoughby, OH, News-Herald Obits. Joe Paquin W2TSI/W2TTW passed away on Monday 4/27. Joe was one of the original Members of LCARA in 1978. He held several positions on our Board over the years and was a key Member of the Hamfest Committee. Joe was a primary author of our Club Constitution and By-Laws and also of our Hamfest Committee. He enjoyed chatting on our 2M Repeater while on the road and would always come back to whoever announced their presence and have a QSO with them whether he knew them or not. Joe was the calming and level-headed voice during disputes on issues that arose over Club activities. When things would come to a standstill, Joe could always find a way to reason with the factions and come to a friendly solution.
