Nepali ham operators have been on air from the first day of the earthquake. HF 14210 MHz and 21360 MHz. They are a small group, but very enthusiastic. They are currently doing the role of not only operating their stations, but also running around town gathering information. As information dissemination here is uncoordinated, their roles have been doubled. Until yesterday hams were operating within Kathmandu. From today they are going out to Gorkha (one of the most effected areas) and Sankhu (fully devastated historical town). Due to lack of stations some are working 2-3 persons to a station.
