CQmaps now offers DuPont Tyvek Maps

CQmaps is now proudly offering all 24X36 maps printed on authentic DuPont Tyvek paper.


As most of you know, maps made of conventional paper are limited in use while in extreme environments. High humidity, rain, snow, and wind can quickly shorten the life span of any map that has not been properly weather proofed.


With DuPont Tyvek paper, outside usage is no longer as much of a concern. The Tyvek option will be printed on 11 mil paper which is about the same thickness of the sheets of standard writing paper.


While your new Tyvek map will stand up to the elements better than standard paper, it is still suggested that you not use it direct rain or snow. A little water spill is harmless, but hours of driving rain may cause some problems.


For Field Day use, your CQmaps map ordered on Tyvek can even be used with grommets to allow the maps to be tied up or tied down for all to see! CQmaps recommends smaller 1/4 inch inner diameter grommets.

Not sure why it says that, as I can see the pictures.

 

It also says "Attachments pending approval" in your post, whatever that means.

 

I guess the powers that be need to make sure that attachments aren't showing pictures inappropriate to the site.
