    John C. Anderson, 54, Superior, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015, in Superior. He was born in Superior on Oct. 23, 1960, to Stanley A. and Donna Jean (Johnston) Anderson.

    He graduated from Superior Senior High School and went on to graduate from WITC in 1981.
    John was employed as an assistant manager for United Refrigeration in Duluth for over 25 years.
    He was a Ham Radio operator and was a member of the Arrowhead Amateur Radio Association and his call sign was AF9T. He also enjoyed going to auctions, Geo Caching and dirt track racing.
    John is survived by two brothers, Neil (Tami) Anderson, South Range, Wis., Ben (Petra) Anderson, Superior; three sisters, Jean (Merlyn) Leih, Merrill, Wis., Donna Armstrong of Jordan, Minn, Karen (Joe Eykholt) Solheim, San Jose, Calif. and many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother Sam Anderson and a nephew, Chris Armstrong.
    VISITATION: one hour prior the funeral service.
    FUNERAL SERVICE: 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at St. Alban the Martyr Episcopal Church, 1510 New York Ave., Superior, with Rev. Steven Burns, officiating.
    Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
    Pallbearers for the service will be his nieces and nephews, Tracy Elke, Malibu Springer, Jennifer Anderson, Brad Anderson, Rob Armstrong, Richard Leih and Jordan Anderson.
    Lenroot-Maetzold Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
