    Funeral services for Donald E. Redmond will be at 2:00, Wednesday, March4, 2015 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Butch Pilcher will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 12 noon until time of service at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.
    Donald was born July 31, 1937 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away February 28, 2015 at St. Francis. Donald was a U.S. Navy veteran and served as a Radio Operator aboard ships and stationed at Yokosuka Naval Base for the 7th fleet, at Yokuska Naval Base, Japan. He worked for Petru Fisheries and retired from Ouachita Coca Cola Bottling Company. Donald was a Ham Radio Operator and was an excellent small engine repair man. He is preceded in death by his parents, James H. Sr. and Ethel Redmond; a daughter, Sondra Redmond and a granddaughter Kelsey Sutton.
    Donald was survived by his wife of 54 years, Carra L. Redmond; daughters, Deborah Morrison and husband, Bobby, Sherri Sutton and husband, Jason, granddaughter, Allyson Sutton, honorary granddaughter, Samantha Dortch; brothers, William "Mac" Redmond and wife Linda and James H. Redmond, Jr. and wife Carol; sister, Glenda Jacobs and husband Jerral.
