    John F. Fabian, age 89, husband of the late Angeline Ann (Interrante) Fabian, of Pottstown, PA, formerly of Phoenixville, PA died Friday evening, Feb. 20, 2015 in the Tel Hai Nursing Home, Honey Brook, PA. Born in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late John J. and Kathryn (Benyo) Fabian.

    He was a 1943 graduate of the Phoenixville High School. Mr. Fabian received his bachelor's degree in business from the Ursinus College, Collegeville, PA. He worked for 30 years at the Firestone Tire Manufacturing Company in Pottstown, PA. He was a member of the St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Pottstown and the Knight of Columbus, Father Bally Council # 1192. He was a Ham Radio enthusiast, and was a member of the Pottstown Area Repeaters Team (PART) and was know by the call sign "W3WR".

    Mr. Fabian is survived by two children, John F., husband of Sandra (Kurechka) Fabian, of South Coventry, PA; Cynthia A., wife of Kevin R. Johnson, of West Berlin, NJ; one sister, Mary Jean, wife of the late Richard Seiple, of Chester Springs, PA; three grandchildren: Jennifer A. Pusey; Andrew R. Johnson; Christa M. Johnson; and three great-grandchildren.

    Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the St. Thomas More RC Church, 2101 Pottstown Pike, Pottstown, PA 19465 on Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Hugh J. Dougherty. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 9:30 – 10:15 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Church.

    In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in his name to the Humane Society, Kindrid Spirits Fund, www.HumaneSociety.org. The video tribute may be viewed and condolences may be made by visiting www.PhoenixvilleFuneralHome.com. The Campbell–Ennis–Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
