    The WW1USA special event station will be on the air again December 27-28 to commemorate the centennial of the Christmas Truce during the early part of World War 1. That event was a spontaneous cease-fire celebrated by combatants to observe the Christmas holiday.

    This station will again be operating from the The National World War 1 Museum at Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, MO USA. Operating time will be continuous from 1600 UTC on Saturday December 27 through 2300 UTC Sunday December 28. Modes will be phone, CW and PSK. Stations worked d
    uring that period can submit their QSO info and receive a special commemorative certificate. See ww1usa.org for more details. Look for frequencies on your favorite DX spotting site.
