Each year a 14300 khz regular puts on what is known as a "Santa Claus Net" bringing volunteer Santa's into ham shacks and other places the world over. Dates: December 23 & 24, from 1400 to 1900 EST.(1900-0100 UTC) Check with the Maritime Mobile Service Net on 14.300 MHz for the actual Santa clause operating frequency, 14.325 MHz as first choise, but may be operating between 14.305 MHz and 14.325 MHz.

The net still has a few Santa Station openings. For more info & current sked, visit http://14300.net/santainfo.htm To volunteer, contact Bob at aa4ee@mac.com

    73, Happy Holidays

Yeah I was going to say....the MM net isn't going to be happy with that selection of frequency.

Santa has ways of dealing with bad boys and girls ,LOL:p 73, Hope it is interference and curmudgeon free that day and the boys and girls behave themselves or risk getting coal for Christmas:)
73, Have fun, Michelle:)LOL, Just occurred to me , We could have Santa operating from all 50 states, then offer an award for working him in all states, call it a Worked All Santas award, or WAS like another popular piece of paper for the wall:)
OK, Im outa here, but might be as popular as the W1AW event:) IMHO eh?:)?:)

Think someone has their nets mixed up...

We are talking about the Santa Clause net, not the Bozo Clown net.

14.300 is pretty raunchy. several have been busted by the FCC on that frequency too.
