I am pleased to announce that after collective discussions and careful planning a New Jersey NBEMS Net is being offered to all stations who are interested in participating in FLDIGI/NBEMS Practice with the main emphasis on Emergency Communications and Preparedness. All stations are welcomed to participate. Both PA and NY offer NBEMS nets for training. By NJ adding a net it allows better coordination and collaboration among neighboring groups. The NJ NBEMS net will commence as follows:

Starting on Sunday November 16th, 2014 at 0930 hours local time, running weekly at the same time.

    NJ NBEMS 40 Meter Net
    Frequency: 7.073 MHz USB
    Mode: Olivia 8/500
    Center Waterfall: 1500 Hz
    Time: 0930 EDT/Local
All Stations should enable RXID and listen for Net Control instructions.

Net Control will ask for Stations with Emergency or Priority Traffic First,
followed by stations with traffic only.

Net Control will then take check in's from NJ Counties grouped together.

Net Control will then take check in's from Out of State or late check in's.

Once all stations checked in, a weekly bulletin/messages will be passed using
FLMSG or FLAMP depending on Net Control Instructions. The mode for sending
messages and bulletins will be USB MFSK32 at 1500 Hz center waterfall same frequency.
All stations should ensure you are using the most updated versions of FLDIGI, FLMSG, FLAMP.Link
