    Yes, another reminder.

    N8XX and a couple other <strike>nuts... errr...</strike> operators are going on a Hellxpeidition Saturday, October 18 to operate the mode "Feld Hell" (Hellschreiber) from a site overlooking downtown Hell, Michigan. We will be using the W1AW/8 call as part of the ARRL Centennial Celebration.

    We will be within a few KHz of the recommended frequencies for Feld Hell, namely 3.574, 7.080-086, 14.062-070, 21.073-075, and 28.073-075 MHz plus or minus QRM.

    If you haven't operated Feld Hell, but have operated PSK31, you "probably" have software which can run Feld Hell. If not, please refer the http://www.feldhellclub.org     web site and click on the "software" tab. We'd sure love to have you in our log.

    In addition, KC8ULE from the Upper Peninsula will be making a journey to Paradise Michigan, to make a "Paradise to Hell" QSO. He will switch to PSK31 after making contacts with W1AW/8. At this time we're not sure if he will be using his on call or will be using W1AW/8. It will depend on what bands are available for PSK31 during his visit to Paradise.

    BTW, I heartily urge you to work the folks from Lowell who are going out to Murray Lake island! I'd be there if Hell were not calling.
