    I've written an application that acts as a gateway between ARPS messaging and SMS (cellular) messaging. It allows APRS users to hold text conversations between their APRS station and an SMS endpoint, usually a cellular phone.

    You can use winlink-to-aprs gateway to send/rx email. See: http://www.winlink.org/aprslink


    Why could you not just send an email to the cellphone via their email-to-sms gateway services such as <cell#>@txt.att.net?


    All the providers have email->sms services.
