On September 6th and 7th 2014, the Radio club of BINCHE (ON7RY) – BELGIUM – will activate the Special Event Callsign ON44WAR in order to commemorate the sacrifice of the Belgian Resistance (WW II) and especially those of the Refuge B 40 in Waudrez (Belgium).

The timetable of the activities will be as follows :

On Saturday 6th from 09:00 AM up to 06:00 PM (UTC + 2)
On Sunday 7th from 09:00 AM up to 03:00 PM (UTC + 2)

At the hour up to the hour and a half, CW transmissions with a Whaddon MK VII (Paraset) on the 7 MHz band (notably 7.025 KHz).
At the hour and a half up to the next hour, SSB transmissions on the 7 MHz band.
