10 GHz proposals advance

I revive the below article as I just attended a conference call with Mimosa, and they stated that they believe there is a 60% chance they will get the 10 GHz spectrum they want.

Alan, can you explain exactly what this would mean for UHF hams that use 10 gig if this happens? I read it but I'm not sure I understand what they intend, other than getting their camel nose into the tent.

 

Hams can only hope that the primary radio location services will have enough clout to stop this plan. We are secondary users, just as we were on 11 meters.
