    SpaceJam8 (Chanute Air Museum, Rantoul, IL) will again feature a high altitude balloon launch with a cross band repeater and SSTV.

    Launch will be at 1245 UTC (7:45 am CDT). The balloon will ascend around 1000 ft/min (5 m/s) and burst is anticipated about 1430 UTC near 105,000 feet (32 km). The flight path is currently staying inside Champaign County. Travelling eastward until 60,000 feet (18 km) before reversing direction until burst.

    The net control on the crossband will be using the call sign WB9SA. Transmissions into the repeater will be on 144.34 MHz. Output from the repeater will be heard on 446.025 MHz.

    The SSTV operating on 147.48 MHz will use the Scottie2 format with images being transmitted for 72 seconds with a 30 second pause before the next image is transmitted.

    A beacon for DFing purposes will be operating for 9-10 seconds on and 25.5 seconds off on 433.92 MHz with the call WB9SA.

    APRS will beacon on 144,99 MHz every thirty seconds with the call sign: WB9SA-11.
