New D-Star Users Group in Australia

A new D-Star users group is forming in Victoria Australia (VK3)

The first meeting of the group will take place in Eastern Melbourne at the Eastern and Mountain Districts Radio Club on Saturday August 3

Remote guest speaker Via Skype will be Michael Carey VK5ZEA, he will be speaking on whats new in D-Star, putting to bed the myth that D-Star is

Icom proprietary. He will be showing the Motorola D-Star Repeater VK5REX B, some analog Yeasu Mobiles interfaced to D-Star His Rasberry Pi Mobile Hotspot

and some Dutch Star Innovations and many other treats

We hope to video the day so stay tuned Our local D-Star repeater will be operational VK3RWN C or VK3RWN B or Reflector 3C
