Dana C. Washburn, KB2ZTD SK Queensbury, NY Age 62

My Condolences to all who knew Dana.

Dana Washburn, 62, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born on Dec. 18, 1951, in Glens Falls, he was the son of Orlie and Violet (Tucker) Washburn.
He enjoyed talking with friends on his ham radio. In his younger years he took up photography, target shooting and small-game hunting.
Dana was predeceased by his father, Orlie Washburn and his brother, Barry Washburn.
Survivors include his son, Sean Washburn of Queensbury; his daughter, Melanie Washburn of Queensbury; his mother, Violet Washburn of Glens Falls and his brother, Brett Washburn of Glens Falls.
There are no calling hours scheduled. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Donations in memory of Dana can be made to National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 E. 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Joseph Mihindu and the Renal Staff, who showed compassion and helped care for Dana.
Arrangements are under the care of Regan Denny Stafford Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury.
