    Default OH8X antenna collapse.

Just heard it came down in a storm. What a major bummer! And just before the 160 contest.

That is sad news. I don't think I've ever worked them on 160.

    Sweet Jeebus!

I wonder which direction it fell - into Russia or Norway?!?!?

Here's a video of (one of) the antennas.

Such sad news; I really love that station. I worked them last month during the CQ WW.

Anyone have links or other information to support the suspicion?

I meant towers. Obviously, there are multiple antennas on this one tower. (however, maybe they work together as a single antenna, and the tower isn't used for other systems, in which case I may have been right anyway)

    From today's ARRL Contest Report:

It has been reported and confirmed that the world's largest amateur antenna, the 3-element 160 meter Yagi at OH8X, has collapsed in a recent storm. The Radio Arcala team is preparing a report that will be available in a few days.
