I've heard the industry is just flushed with enthusiasm for this concept! It means a lot of work for BS engineering professionals.

But they just won't comment about data dumps and the potential of resulting log jams.

Imagine the impact of buffer overflow and denial-of-service attacks on BSL.

Actually, This is a GREAT idea!
Sewer lines run to most all homes in a city already.
All we need to do is "snake" a fiberoptic line into the
house via the sewer line! # NO digging up lawns, streets,
etc! I have seen the small Closed Circuit TV cameras that
they send down the sewer lines to check them out. Do the same thing with the fiberoptic cable! # This will provide a REAL broadband communications system, Unlike the wet dream BPL scam!
Who wants to provide some seed money to get it going,
Say $500,000.00 or so? I'll work on it!

Running the fiber would be no problem. Just tie it to the tail of a rat an let him go!!

Nothing new about BSL, Charter Communications (we all know Charter, cable TV) has been using BSL from the begining. How else can you explain it?
OK OK, a poor attempt at humor.

There are a few things BPL and BSL have in common.... they both stink, and both are not viable for rural areas (private septic systems).

Hey, I have a septic tank

What is the Directway version of Broadband over Sewer Line?

Guess the harmful interference discussions on this are better left unsaid!
