The "economy" package on GoDaddy does limit one to 5-separate pages. The amount of storage is independent of the number of pages. Now, how much one puts on those 5-pages is limited by the storage allotment.

I don't think the colors you can use depends on the version of HTML. It depends on the video monitors and cards computers are using.
HTML is markup, colors are part of styling so they're not really related at all. I had to go look up the HTML 4 spec to remind myself what you were talking about and yes, I'd forgotten about the bgcolor attribute that defined some standard colors but I still don't think it matters any more. Firstly, you should have stopped using bgcolor a decade ago but even if you are still using it, I think it's safe to give it any #1234AB type hex value. I haven't tried it but I don't think the browser is going to look at the DOCTYPE and say "illegal color, I can't display this".

What I was implying was that the "deal" that MHZ has does limit one to 5-separate pages. There are all sorts of "deals" that allow considerably more flexibility in the size of the website, etc.

Ross, it is no big deal either way. About all that happens is off shade colors. I don't use BG colors as it makes reading difficult. Yet they're still used a whole lot, and that's why I mentioned them.

Yes, I understand. I wasn't familiar with the other packages available. Now I know.

Another point:- chose background and text colors carefully. There are far too many sites with garish colors that are impossible to read or, in my case, make you feel physically ill.
W3C is the body concerned with the web, html etc http://www.w3.org/
Lots of good information and tutorials.
