Find the age on my IC 756 P3

Well I am wanting to find out how old my P3 is the Serial Number is 3204XXX. I did a Google and found nothing in about 10 pages. I did an advanced search here and found 1 post that said that there was no "Code" on Serial Numbers. Does anybody know where I can check the age by serial number?

the real question is what is the next number in the s/n.

units below 32045XX have the bipolar finals, after 32045 they have MOSFETS.

I think you cut it in half and count the rings...

I have never heard of a code buried in the serial number. Maybe an E-Mail to Icom America???

Well the next number is a 3204000 so it looks like I have the OLDER model.

Well I went to the P3 user group and left because I don't do FaceBook or Twitter nor have I ever used Yahoo groups. I may have to change my ways and do Yahoo. I do have problems with my P3 and I guess I will have to send it to the West Coast since Paul W6XA moved back to Cal. I will do something after Christmas as Paul should be set up by then. I do have my 756 Pro that I can use.
