Squeaked through on 30M CW, but no joy on 80M CW. I called and called until it was time to go to work. It seems my antenna doesn't work well down on 3.5 as it is tuned for 3790, the DX SSB portion. Even using the tuner showed a high SWR. So maybe most of my KW was being disipated in the tuner. But you would think that even if 100W was getting out of the 1000, I would be heard!

So, not much hope for 80 and no hope whatsoever for 160. Well, 13 QSOs is doing pretty good. Some easy ones are still left. 20SSB, 15 RTTY, 17RTTY, 12 SSB. I just have to find them on when I am home. Watching the DX Summit at work brings much grief. They are ALWAYS 59+ calling CQ CALIFORNIA while I am at work, and as soon as I get home, go QRT or off to bands I already have worked them on!

Well I've got them on a whole two band slots now... they were loud (and bored, by the sound of it) on 40m SSB last night, around 0600z.

He DID sound BORED on 40ph last night.
When someone answers ME with one call on 40 ph, he is NOT BUSY !

I am anxiously waiting on the new log update.
    I SHOULD have 12m CW (insurance Q), 17m CW & 40ph.
    Fool me once...Shame on YOU.

There's definitely something weird going on with their log. I made two contacts over the weekend, one on 20cw and the other on 40 phone. Those have been in there on the log. So early this morning I work them on 30 cw and 40cw. My 30 cw contact shows up and now the log shows 2 20m cw contacts and my 40m cw does not show.

I have 4 bands now, 10, 12, 17, and 20M all in their log. I'm hearing them on 15M and 30M loud and clear. Of course all CW for me....

I would like to get them on 10, 12, 17, 20, 30, and 40 CW. I'll quit trying then and apply for the QSL! It has been hard to figure out the split for me.

They're very strong on 30m this morning. Their OP is calling for stations from Asia, but so far as I can tell everyone is basically ignoring his instructions all together. I hope this mess has cleared up by Sep 17 or 18 otherwise I'm just gonna give this one a pass.

Finally got him on 30m this morning at 7:30am with my end fed 55ft wire tuned with a home brew tuner at 90 watts.
Lots of lids and fre cops right on top of him, what a shame. The ft-950 made it possible. I'm content now.

Got up at 3AM to try and work them on 30 RTTY. After beating my head on the table, I went back to bed for a few minutes of sleep; and then resumed on 40 CW. NO CONTACT despite fine sigs. Might be SOL on these bands! Need a 40 & 30M Beam!!! The JAs just Swarm the freq with no hope for Stateside, despite pleas from the OPs for NA!
