Question Space bar does not work to tran

Ok here goes I setup echo link and it all work. Well sort of could not get thru my firewall. Setup up port forwading( I think) and now can tx an rx. But the million dollar question is ....wait for it ..why doesn't my space bar work to tx? I can tx if I click the lighting bolt in the conner but the space bar is doa! I have looked at the pref and played with the settings but to no avail it no "F" work! Thanks

Tap the spacebarsonce to begin "transmitting", tap it again to stop (don't hold it down).

Tried that. Space bar does nothing. Only thing it does is act like a mouse click when I am in the pref tab. It will check and uncheck the items.

Why are you trying to key node in the preferences tab? You need to be connected to a station that allows you to transmit.

Go to preferences/connections and press PTT Control to take a look at your Push-to-Talk Settings. Make sure you have Keyboard only checked and spacebar selected.

Right did that. Then connected to node and when I hit the space bar nothing happened. I had to click the left lighting button to get into tx mode. Also I have it setup just like your screen shot
