It was with great sadness that I learned through Mac, JA3USA, that Ham Radio Outlet VP, George Varvitsiotes, K6SV, passed away on August 21st, 2012. I met George in 2010 during the APDX Conference in Osaka, Japan where he helped Mac as Emcee of the conference. It was privilege to get to know him a bit during that wonderful weekend.
