Default Would this be a reasonable lawsuit?

I owned a push mower and put my hands under the mowing deck while the mower was flat on the ground and the blades were spinning. They whacked my fingertips REALLY good, resulting in a hospital trip, medical bills, etc. Would it be frivolous to sue someone?

You could theoretically sue yourself for reckless endangerment. You might even get away with emotional distress damages.

If you sue anyone, it should be your parents.

    Sorry about your injuries.

It's been done, actually--people suing themselves. There was a case years ago where a guy drove his car too far into the garage and damaged the house. He, as the insured homeowner, sued himself--the insured auto driver--for damages. I don't remember the outcome but it's not as farfetched as you might think.

Too bad K0RCC has dropped his "True Stella" newsletter. This would have been a natural for it.

How about Darwin? Or were you just practicing for the big one?

"The best number is 73. Why? 73 is the 21st prime number. Its mirror (37) is the 12th and its mirror (21) is the product of multiplying, 7 and 3. ... In binary, 73 is a palindrome, 1001001 which backwards is 1001001."

"Just to invite your attention to "73" in Morse code--also a palindrome."
