W0RON, Wencil O. Moye Silent Key
My uncle, Wencil Moye, W0RON, passed away on July 16, 2012. He was a great guy and got me started in HAM radio. He was also my favorite uncle and I miss him terribly.

Wencil Olem Moye, age 78, of Pleasant Plains, died Monday, July 16, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born September 3, 1933 in Osceola, the son of Hershel Moye and Hettie Vee Morgan Moye. He was a Free and Accepted Mason and a member of the Scottish Rite and York Rite. Wencil had previously been a school teacher for 30 years, a Boy Scout leader for 15 years, and was a member of Cedar Grove Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include 2 sons, Thomas Olen Moye, Robert Allen Moye; a brother, Tyrone Moye; 4 sisters: Graple Rose Moye, Arkie Burris Moye, Arbie Martin Moye, Sandra Faulkner Moye; and one grandchild, Benjamin Moye.
Services are set for 11:00 A.M., Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Cross County Veterans Cemetery in Birdeye under the direction of Willis Funeral Service. Pallbearers will be Tom Moye, Rob Moye, Scott Moye, and Kevin Moye. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Bennett and Roy Row.
