Hi Guys and Dolls:

Just wanted to remind everyone that this weekend in the MDC QSO Party, August 11 and 12.

Full rules are at www.w3vpr.org .

Also a couple notes: The sponsor this year, the AARC, Inc, promises a certificate to anyone working at least 10 MDC stations during the event and then submitting a proper entry into the contest. That is in addition to the usual winner awards.

Rare Worchester County will be on the Air as NI2W/3 and his operating partners N3ARZ and WB3FTQ head to the eastern shore of Md to provide that rare county to those interested.

I, WA3EOP , will mobile through a few Mid to Western MD Counties, Howard, Carroll, Frederick,And Washington in support of the event on Saturday. If you are looking for 10 MD stations, A mobile contact counts as a different station in each county worked. There could be a few other mobiles out there too.

Several clubs are expected to be on the air during the event including KI3DS, W3VPR, W3HAM and probably
others. If you are in it to win it, Club are 10 point contacts on each band worked and mobiles are 5 points for each valid contact.

Its billed as the FUN CONTEST. Its not a huge state QSO Party like California, Pennsylvania and a few others but it is different and helps keep a little fun in the hobby. See you there?
