I know a person that has ADD. They don't multi-task at all. They are very monochronic but only focus on any particular thing for short durations of time. They tend to start a project and not finish it before starting another. There isn't much of an appearance of multi-tasking, just jumping from one thing to the other. The person I know deals with it well and eventually finishes everything, it just takes several shots with lots of breaks in between to do it. I can't stand to work with her as I am just the opposite. I would rather spend 10 straight break free hours getting something done than start and stop repeatedly to get other projects under way.

No, seriously. There really is a difference.
All of our (healthy) brains perform the same functions and can do so simultaneously. All our brains cannot, however, perform the same tasks. A function does not require learning. A task does.
I just wanted you to know that I wasn't just messing with you.
