Thanks. We will be around when you are ready. I do love hearing things like this, as we are in it for the long haul.

What will the pricing scheme be after 6.0 if it is already bought.
In other words the cost for an upgrade from 6.0 to 7.0 if I previously bought 6.0? Thanks and 73, Tom N2BEW

1/2 of retail price. If we release a 7 before your year warranty is up (which could happen), then no cost for 7. Just the renewal every year at 1/2 retail.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the QRZ lookup. It doesn't freeze... it doesn't fail to work. If there is a reliable Internet connection, it works without fail or delay.

Within the next few days, I hope to have some videos up on our YouTube channel that show the new lookup features of 5.24.0.28 and demonstrate the install and functionality on XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Mike, I did mentioned about that. I am doing a portable operation in YB land right now and the internet connection is very unreliable down here. So, you might need to think for those hams who doesn't have the luxury of a reliable internet connection.

Furthermore, I don't know if this my error or software bug(s). When I imported another adif logbook from another program (N1MM), some of the countries are messed up. B5B/5 and BY4DX/5 showed up as Cyprus, BD4KYA/4 showed up as Azerbaijan, JA8COE/8 as Barbados, DT0HF as Angola, etc.

Thanks and I really appreciate your work

There are still way too many bugs in the system IMO and I am afraid guys, that after 10 years of using HRD I will be jumping ship to another system. Sorry but when it was free I can live with the odd bug but I am not prepared to pay for something that changes everytime it's released, some times to its detrement.

I agree with other poster's on here - wrong country codes coming up, no look-up field in logbook (now fixed) - spurious award data missing (manual checks validate this), some QSO not uploading to LOTW(god knows why) again manual upload and it fixes the problem.

So I wish you luck and may look again down the road. 73

5.24.28 is free... , Let me say that again, 5.24.28 is FREE! LOL

BTW, the above bugs were fixed in .25 -.28.. A reimport of data will fix the log.. and LOTW works like a champ.

And the new lookup we have a 99% hit rate. I was doing testing during the IOTA contest and it was AMAZING.

Sorry to see you go, but I don't think you'll find any other package as comprehensive as HRD. Good luck in your search!

When you guys add JT-65, your sales will triple! I know a lot of people begging for a JT-65 version that is easy to use and set-up, for which DM780 fits the bill perfectly. Please keep us up to date on the status of getting JT-65 in.

JT65-HF and JT-Alert are easy to use and play well with HRD right now.
I guess one thing I like now, is that I can watch JT-65 traffic with JT65HF AND monitor PSK-31 or RTTY on DM-780 at the same time.

On mine, all I see is "OK" and nothing else. This is probably due to the fact that I've switched off most of the internet lookups due to the lag it was creating...I did not have XML lookup at QRZ. I assume the other fellow may have done the same thing. I need to go flip the switches back on and see how it works, at least before my trial XML subscription runs out. Not looking for support here, just providing a data point.

To the other folks "jumping ship", I say go ahead and jump. I challenge you to delete HRD and do it TODAY without delay. If you find something that does all that HRD does and you can get it for free, you've found something that nobody else has. I just love folks who spend thousands on radio gear, but somehow can't manage to squeak $59 out of their wallet.

And another thing, I think that it really sucks that these people are actually doing something to advance the art (rather than complaining about it) and it only takes about a page before the negative posts start. Nobody wants to hear the complaints; you aren't convincing anyone. The old adage most definitely applies here: If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything.

Sorry for the off topic but I felt I'd held my tounge (fingers?) long enough.
