Hey Robin!!
You can set up many different logs in HRD. In fact you can name them pretty much what-ever you want so you can easily tell which is which. Why not download the free version and see for yourself?

Sounds like you may need to buy 2.

I do think uploading to eQSL and LoTW is limited to one call only, but I'm not sure. I looked into setting up a separate LoTW for a previous call and managing it within HRD but honestly don't remember if I figure out how to do that since I never set up the LoTW account for my old call.

I can currently switch log profiles easily, either using the same log database or just switch to one of the 10 operator saved profiels, or create another one..
just hoping that the same licensing thing will happen, in that the main software is licensed to a call/user, then the user can swap callsigns used etc as they can now.
it's only a hobby... or is it ??

not worried about EQSL and LOTW bits.. as I don't use these features at the moment.

it's ok at the moment, I can manage multiple calls and operators on the one 'license' for the software, just need to know how it is going to be for V6+
have also sent an email to them asking about club discounts.
See ya in February!

I used HRD for my K2NCC logging as well as my WF9XJM station. Any combination on any computer didn't seem to bother it in the least. Including eQSL and LoTW uploads. Granted, had to re-type username and passwords (don't accidentally upload the wrong log to the wrong call!), but as it is, multiple users is slightly cumbersome, but do-able. Can be tabs as well as profiles.

Seems to me that a club can use HRD with the club-callsign, on all the club computers, so it would just seem like one user anyway (several at-a-time).
Looks as if you already have a discount by only needing to pay for one copy and support for a whole team!

Not all clubs can afford $60 per PC, there are 4 stations.. paying the rent and insurance is enough these days, the latest equipment is from kind donations from the membership, and a the club's chosen software, we teach the members how to get the best out ot of it, so that's the revenue stream for HRD..

I don't think it's per PC. I haven't read any fine-print, or do I speak for HRD, but isn't it $60 per CALL? Which means, like your club, I can have HRD on every computer I own or use, and pay $60 once for v6 and renew for support every year after. You can still run HRD forever, on all the computers a single callsign uses, but have no support, for only 60 bucks.
What a deal!
Now, if your club uses more than one call-sign, THERE I would think a discount is appropriate. Instead of paying full-price for four copies, some discount seems fair. But keep in mind, the support load on the HRD staff go WAY up with multiple users and machines!
