    Default NOVA for windows questions.

Looking through the program I don't see a listing for some of the Amateur satellites that others are contacting. Maybe I don't know the real names for them and they are in the program with different names. I don't see a listing for SO-50 and others...I do see that some are listed as Oscar but others are not there.

What am I missing? Who is using this to control there SAT systems...AZ-EL. I also don't see listing for don't see a listing for the AMSAT LVB tracker for rotor.

I am building SAT system and this is the program I wanted to build around any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Not to be flippant, but many of us have moved away from Nova. SatPC32 has more features, and much more support. Plus the Doppler tracking features are head and shoulders above anything else.

The birds are in, indeed, in the Keplerian data that Nova acquires ... AO-27 is "Eyesat-1" and SO-50 is "Saudisat 1C" ...

And doesn't the AMSAT LVB emulate the Yaesu GS-232A protocol? It, too, is handled by Nova.

I would second the suggestion to investigate SatPC32, and I say this as a long time registered user of Nova. After trying out SatPC32, I registered the program and deleted Nova from my system. SatPC32 is far more useful, and easier to interface with various CAT systems. IMHO, Nova has prettier graphics, but SatPC32 is far more versatile and useful.

I've tried ALL of the popular tracking software, and some few have heard about, and if you want to run your station reliably on a Windows PC, SatPC32 simply cannot be bettered.
