There might be something wrong with the audio PA or it could be before that.
In the TS-950SDX instruction book there is a description of the pin outs for the ACC2 connector. This is on page 20. It shows a SANO connection and a MANO connection. These are audio signals prior to the audio PA. Using an audio amplifier connected to these terminals will give you the signal at all times you are receiving. So you can listen to the signals and see if it fails at that point. If it does fail then you would need to check the previous stages on the AF board. The fact that the mode switching beeps are not heard seems to indicate an audio PA problem.
The TS-950SDX is getting older and things sometimes change in the unit from aging. Contacts become intermittent and capacitor start leaking voltage and it can be a problem to find. The audio PA is on the CONTROL UNIT. Your problem is probably there. All this would point to the audio PA if the SANO and MANO do not drop out.
You can get the service manual and the instruction manual at; http://www.wz5q.net/index/manuals.htm.
    Hope this helps

    Tnx Gary for your info.
I found DSP B connector not plug in perfectly. It seems the connector that attaches to the rear side of body (not from the cable) little bit slack.
Is it possible the problem occured because of that? I've tried to fasten the cable connector and then the audio came back to normal.

Hi Dino, yes it could be the problem since the IF signal is sent into the DSP and comes out as audio. This audio is then sent to the other stages of audio amplification. One thing that would be a problem is if the sidetone was also missing when the audio went silent. The sidetone is injected into the audio chain and does not pass through the DSP. If that was a problem then it will come back unless you managed to get a good contact with another connector while you were probing around. Keep your fingers crossed (luck symbol) and hopefully it won't return.
    Have fun
