This is not the first production run, but has ran the test and has not exhibited any TX failure issues (never sent in for service). I've ran it on CW, Digital, SSB and FM and she has held up well. As far as I am concerned, the TX issue was the only flaw with the first run IC-7000. Other than that early issue, they are the perfect all band/all mode radio for base or mobile operations. I would like to keep this rig, but I have had to sell off my radios to pay off debt. I am going low profile with my 703+ and battery pack until I can get back out of the hole.
