Default Echolink not work since window 7 upgrade

Upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 and can not get Echolink to work. Echolink connects with proper display etc but Fire Wall test fail. Using Norton 360. All configurations say it is good (Allow). Tried reinstall Echolink. Help says UDP may be blocked or router problem (no router) but can not find where. I am using PDA net as a modem with Moto Droid via Verizon Wireless. It all worked well before upgrade to Windows 7. Been a year now and can not find answer. Friend says Verizon may be blocking. Any suggestions?

    Roy,
I have a Echolink node in sysop mode. I was using a full version of Windows 7 not an upgrade version of windows 7. I installed the latest version of Echolink and set is up in Sysop mode. I had DSL and switched to cable both worked fine on my old computer I sold that had an OS Vista. I purchased a new computer with Windows 7 home pro. I followed the Echolink setup for windows 7. It worked for a short time and then I lost the microphone side of the sound card. I had a friend that is a computer programmer and he went over the Echolink software and W7 OS coding. There was Windows 7 .dll files that were corrupted that controlled the sound card after the instillation of Echolink Version 2.0.908. I did not have any luck setting up the Sysop mode until I reformatted the HD and installed Vista. I use a Tigartronics Signalink with a VOX to my HT Yaesu FT-250R linking to our clubs repeater. I have had no problems sense.

I've been fighting getting it set up also, I got the router configured right, says all connections are good, but it can't find Port one and I get zero audio even though I can connect with stations, I have one small patch of hair left.
I should have just stuck with single user, not tried to set up a simplex node.

Well I am using the same setup as Roy and my problem is Echolink shows up in the system sound card and not in the USB codec so all the sounds come out over the system speakers not the radio. I can't seem to find a way to make that switch.

That is a bit confusing ?

The audio should come out of the sound card.

Are you using a USB audio interface also ?
