Special event K4C to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.

The Movimiento Radioaficionados de Puerto Rico (MRPR) – WP4NPC, will hold on July 25, 2012, the special event K4C, marking the 60th anniversary of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (la Constitucion del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico). The purpose of the activity is to commemorate this important date for Puerto Ricans and make it known around the world, through amateur radio, the recognition of one of the best written constitutions in the world.

The activity will take place on the campus of the National Park Julio Enrique Monagas of the Municipality of Bayamón from 10:00 am (1400 UTC). We will be operating in the HF bands between 10 & 40 meters, and locally on the chain of repeaters of the MRPR.
