Or, get on JT65A and work a VK. Just did that, at 60 A, 6 K.

I hope you used the proper amount of salt. When it is cured dig it back up and serve it with toast, tomato, and alioli.

The back story on this quote. My daughter, a funeral director, asked SIRI the same question. The reply was 'Are you looking for a swamp?'...........

Pardon a question from a Yank. WHAT are "VK4" cans? (As if I can't guess!) Of what material are they constructed?

But to the original question, Eric should have been able to work some SPECTACULAR Aurora this past weekend! The packet cluster was ALL 6 Meter (and some 2 Meter) aurora contacts; unfortunately, nothing got to us in Southern California.

Well, I can sorta scratch #9 off my list. I made a semi compact receiving loop for 600 meters. I can pick up the Kodiak NAVTEX station just fine, so I guess it sorta works

Finished building my loaded Elecraft K2/100 (2 months I'm slow) and Tuner and a Elecraft W2 wattmeter. Just starting to tear down the station and make a place for the K2 and a new K3/100/P3wSVGA/KAT3 and 4 new 8 pole filters. The Elecrafts will make a nice addition to the shack and I have bought 2 microHAM microKEYER II's for each one. This is the most new equipment I have ever setup at one time.
