I second WIK's nomination for a 10M Moxon; I used one the last year and a half that I was in KH6 and worked 144 DXCCs with it in that time.
They're about 70% of the width of a two element Yagi but have better F/B ratio and 5.5dbi gain at a reasonable height. Like Steve says, they're easy to build and you can use any type of wire that you can lay your hands on. I used Wal-Mart 10' fishing poles with the thinest section cut down a bit. For 10M you could use any kind of lumber or even PVC pipe since they're so small!

If I had more room for more antennas here at the new QTH I'd put mine back up; in a word, Moxons rock!

The Moxon's a great idea for 10m. I built one out of PVC tubing reinforced with fibreglas inside and #12 AWG THHN household electrical wire for a grand total of about $30 and it works very well for portable use, and only weighs maybe 3 lbs.
