Always amazes me when I read about some keeping a body around for a long time in their house.....don't know how they tolerate the odor. Unless she kept that house cold as an icebox, the dearly departed is going to get pretty ripe. Got dispatched once to a possible DOA, in NC, in July at a mobile home park. As soon as I stepped out of the ambulance my nose told me that possible wouldn't be a factor.

As for NASCAR lets not bash someone's sport people are as invested in their distractions as they are in the states they live in.
Naw.. it's good. NASCAR is one of the approved sports to bash. We are used to it....

Just don't talk bad about one of our drivers... especially #3!!!

The irony is that if charges are brought, the prosecution will cost the taxpayers MORE money. If convicted and sent to prison, or evaluated and institutionalized, that will cost the taxpayers yet MORE money.

    Yep, sad all around.

That doesn't take away the sadness..
You might feel differently if it was someone you know perhaps your mom or if it were your wife how do you think you would feel?

Wow that is just creepy! I was kinda hoping it was an article about maybe the guy's ashes being in a nascar shaped/decorated urn or something but having him propped in the chair to "watch" NASCAR? Wow..

Hmm.. not sure if she would be heading for prison or a psych ward... but yeah she stole tax payer money, she needs to answer for that.

She may have enjoyed his company for the first time in years. There was none of that, "Go get me a beer" or "Let the dogs out". Talk about a good listener...

If it were my mom I'd be mad that she didn't tell me Dad died 18 months ago. Plus I wouldn't go 18 months without seeing both of them anyway.

If it were my wife, I'd be mad at myself for not noticing a dead guy in the living room for a year and a half.

And I said I was sad. All of who pay taxes have been paying for this, and will now pay more.

Is it OK to steal if you are old?

If I were on the jury I would consider the circumstances and be lenient on her.

Me too but I'd still be mad.

My bet is she'll be evaluated and wind up in a psychiatric facility for a while.
